After aging out of foster care, and  an impulsive phone call, Tami quits her job, leaves her apartment, and drives to Michigan to help take care of her paralyzed Gramma.

 

During her visit, Tami remembers her own abuse, discovers her mother’s buried secrets and makes a quick, impactful decision - that destroys a family and shakes the community.
